Demo Reel... Coming Soon!

Man... it has been an interesting few last months, let me tell ya. But I won't... you'd be bored to tears. Anyway, I have been working feverishly on my demo reel and it is almost here. Working on animation cycles for cloth testing and putting the cinematics together so I should be posting it soon... stay tuned. King Darius, I got you buddy. Skywalker pic? Also coming soon. Stick in there with me! For those of you just coming on, this is Dexter. He started off as an illustration and now? He is fully rigged, tex'd, and cloth to follow. I am exited! Hey all. I know, I know... it's been a moment. Needed to catch up on some things and unfortunately this was neglected, but just a tad. Here's a new one for ya. I have been mesmorized by Sebastian Kruger as of late and wanted to take a crack at it. Lemme' know what'cha think.

Whatta'ya know... I'm back and didn't wait too long this time. Okay people (for those stopping by now and in the future). Here's the start of what I promised in the last posting. What you're looking at is an illustration of a comic short I am starting. Soon to follow will be the 3d versions of these characters (and pages... hopefully).

I have one of the coolest guys in the industry making my Title for the book and I am just stoked at the prelim' he's showed me already! I have another mult-talented gentleman (well I don't know if he's a gentleman - kidding KB) working on the color so this thing is about to take off. Cross those fingers people!

Hello again... I know, it's been a while. I wanted to post something of recent. This is a poster illustration of what is to be a children's book and that's pretty much all I can say for now.

Now going back to the title "Art Things Considered", I would like to start covering things diverse. From things like 3d concepts all the way to animation even talking about script writing. I just dig that stuff! So if any you have anything you can bring to the table, by all means... lemme' hear it.

In the near future you will be seeing my character concepts and the process of turning those concepts into 3d models (...and yesssss, that includes rigging). Catch ya' on the flip.

Here's my take on one of my favorite animated movies! I never get tired of looking at it. I've read up on it; how it was made, the people that animated the characters, you name it! This movie was put together very well (instant classic).

This is my homage to it and I will have some more characters of other favorites in the future.

So... here I am, back again with a new post. Here is a project I just finished and I am pretty pleased with it. However, I don't think I am quite finished.

"The Screamer" as it is called is a future-istic type of vehicle that will be able to travel up to speeds in excess of 300 mph (...I think). This was just a down right cool project to work on. So... here is my new post! First off, I would like to thank you for just checking this out! I invite you to drop by anytime. Next I would like to add a small description... not even that- a direction (yeah, that's it) to this blog. Name of my blog is "Art Things Considered!". What's that??? Glad you asked (don't you hate it when folks do that).

Well to answer that question, I have to say I not only love art I love talking about art. In specifics, I love 3d art- 3d movies to put a cap on it! "How to Train you Dragon" is the new fav' of mine by-the-way, which leads me to explain something. My name is Christopher Sanders, but I am not the Chris Sanders your thinking of. I go by CPS which is my initials and this is my attempt at clearing things up! Cheers! Well I am not gonna' make this post too long (since it is my first post) but I do encourage you to help me out with pointers and comments about art I post as well as discussions I may bring up.

...and speaking of art- what you see here is a flyer to something I had a blast doing!! I was given a great opp to teach at my local library. I taught the art of character design for gaming or animation and it turned out great!! Hey, if anyone from the library was there give me a shout out! Again, this flyer went out as a precursor to what was to come.
